President Barack Obama has nominated Timothy W. Manning '93 to serve as deputy administrator for National Preparedness, FEMA, Department of Homeland Security. (See the White House press release here.)
Manning is currently the director of the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security Emergency Management, as well as Homeland Security adviser to Gov. Bill Richardson.
