Technology Support Specialist

Eastern Illinois University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technology Support Specialist. If you or someone you know is interested/would be interested we encourage you to apply.  

Responsibilities include: Creating and writing reports for campus constituents; training staff to use reports and other technology and to interpret data; exploring new technologies and integrating them into the enrollment management areas; analyzing upgrades to existing software; assisting with the improvement and development of the University's communication flow; developing and supporting electronic data interchanges. 

Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred.  Knowledge of enrollment services, admissions, records and registration areas preferred.  Knowledge of reporting tools and report writing required.  Additional preferred qualifications include Word document experience with Crystal, Argos, Banner ODS, analyzing reports, HTML, XML and web interfaces preferred and system and process analysis experience.  Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple constituents simultaneously are required.
