Show your panther pride and join us for a fun-filled weekend of spirit and tradition at EIU "Back to Blue" Homecoming 2009. The events we have planned for this fall promise to make this Homecoming one of the best yet!
Wednesday, October 14
6 pm: Family Fun Night (Grand Ballroom/ Martin Luther King Jr. University Union)
Family Fun Night is an entertaining evening for students, alumni, faculty, staff and their families. Activities will include carnival games, music, refreshments and prizes for all ages.
Friday, October 16
*11:30 am: Panther Scholarship Scramble & Banquet (Charleston Country Club)

8 pm: EIU Pep Rally (Lantz Arena)
Get in the Panther spirit with performances by the EIU Marching Band, Billy the Panther, EIU Cheer Team and the Pink Panthers.
Saturday, October 17
*9 am: 2.5K Homecoming Race (Old Main)
Registration begins at 7:45 am. Advanced registration materials available at the EIU Student Rec Center.

11:30 am: Annual Alumni Tent City and Billy’s Backyard (Practice Fields, South of O’Brien Stadium)
Attractions will include complimentary food, inflatable games, live music, freebies and more!
1:30 pm: Homecoming Football Game (O’Brien Stadium)
